Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger functions and manage month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Conduct thorough internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
