- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage tax compliance filings and audits for multi-state operations
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Lead budget forecasting and cost analysis initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Tax compliance expertise (federal/state/local)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
