Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
- Prepare budgets and provide financial forecasting to management.
- Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
