Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll entries and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to manage financial data.
- Communicate financial findings and discrepancies to the finance manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
