Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems and automation tools
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record in process optimization and financial analysis
