Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval workflows.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling data and assisting with reports.
- Organize and file physical and electronic documents for easy retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts (training provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and internal processes.
