Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal control documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Expertise in GAAP principles and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
