Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Mentor junior staff and review their work for quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
