Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives
- Implement process improvements for financial systems and controls
- Lead audit preparation and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounts payable/receivable cycles
