Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Process bi-weekly payroll with meticulous attention to detail and timeliness
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial health
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for corporate clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for improved efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekly payroll processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations a plus
