Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
- Assist with general financial audits and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
