Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurately process and enter financial transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date ledgers and financial documentation.
- Reporting: Compile basic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Administrative Support: Handle filing, scanning, and other general office duties to support the finance department.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
