Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices and manage client collections.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Prepare basic financial reports for management review and decision-making.
- Assist with tax preparation filings and quarterly reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
