Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize financial systems with QuickBooks and ERP platforms
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly and annual filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff during peak periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel advanced functions, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
