Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and bank reconciliation processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial reporting systems
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage 100, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and IRS regulations
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
