Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Support external auditors during year-end audits and tax filings.
- Review and approve journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
