Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to senior management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
