Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, ensuring 100% compliance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
