Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and local regulatory standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows, including reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for senior management.
- Ensure tax compliance by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Streamline internal accounting processes and implement best practices for financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
