Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements adhering to GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and efficiency
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing month-end closing processes and financial audits
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
