Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budget projections on a monthly basis.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal control policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
