Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with external audits and internal control implementations to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel functions to generate detailed financial reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
