Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings to ensure full compliance.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations, expense audits, and variance analysis to maintain financial integrity.
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
