Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
