Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing insightful variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume setting.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
