The Role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be the financial gatekeeper for our organization. You will manage the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness according to company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP cycle, including data entry, coding, and approval routing.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
