Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist external auditors during year-end audits and tax preparations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Monitor budget variances and provide variance analysis reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
