Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accurate recording.
- Assist in the annual external audit process, coordinating with auditors and preparing necessary schedules.
- Develop and maintain the company’s master budget and provide variance analysis to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements regarding financial reporting.
- Streamline financial processes and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or related fields.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
