Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, providing insights to management on variances.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy of financial records and adherence to internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
