Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee payroll processing with our daily pay system ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for executive leadership
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Lead audits and tax preparation activities with external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with daily pay systems or alternative payroll solutions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
