Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit engagements
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience with complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
