Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct audits and internal controls reviews to ensure accuracy and mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel functions to streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
