Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
- Assist in the annual external audit process by providing required documentation and schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
