Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Management: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the AP and AR processes, including invoice verification, processing, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Compliance & Audits: Assist external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Budgeting & Analysis: Support the finance department in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
