Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the AP and AR processes, including invoice verification, processing, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Support the finance department in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
