Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly basis.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, coordinating with external auditors as needed.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and expense analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
