Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, including account reconciliation and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and internal reports to support executive decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
