In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal and external review.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in year-end audits and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
