Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Conduct nightly financial close procedures and prepare preliminary reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Monitor and audit financial data to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operational handovers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or a related role.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle experience preferred).
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
