Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions and daily reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collection of funds.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and adhere to internal control policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
