Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
- Payroll: Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring all deductions and tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP and local tax regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Software: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
