- Oversee the daily general ledger activities and ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal management and external audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
