Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare financial statements and budget reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings
- Oversee bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits
- Implement efficient bookkeeping systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Knowledge of Massachusetts tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet strict weekly deadlines
- Relevant certification (e.g., AIPB) preferred
