Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliation of accounts, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial workflows.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting.
- Bank Relations: Manage bank reconciliations and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Integrity: Unwavering commitment to ethical standards and financial transparency.
- License: Valid driver’s license (for occasional travel to branch locations).
