As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership. This is a Full Time position that offers long-term career growth and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in the budgeting process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
