Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and controls are in place.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, credit cards, and bank statements.
- Assist with external audits and internal control documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the budgeting team to develop annual budgets and variance analysis reports.
- Manage inter-company transactions and resolve discrepancies across different business units.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in financial software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
