Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, reconciliation, and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local and federal tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits and internal control reviews to mitigate financial risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Process payroll data and manage employee expense reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
