Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
