Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support for federal and state tax filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and fixed asset schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
