Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger operations and month-end/year-end close processes
- Lead tax preparation, planning, and compliance for corporate entities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial systems
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Automate financial workflows using advanced Excel and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing month-end/year-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
