Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate ledgers in QuickBooks and ERP systems.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and facilitate the external audit process by providing required documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and monitor variances, providing insights to drive cost savings.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders clearly.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
